OMOROVICZA
In 1861 the Omorovicza family unveiled the Rácz Fürdő, a vast subterranean matrix of pools, on the site of a 1560’s Ottoman bath. The ethereal glamour of the baths is entwined with quiet eccentricities, of antiquity and innovation, art and science, healing and gratitude. Working with a laboratory of dermatology, renowned for its 1937 Nobel Prize winning discovery of vitamin C, the founders tested the abiding quality of the water from the Rácz, uncovering the mystery of its vitality.
